Staying away from Foods While Breast Feeding

Many women learn that they can eat what they have to may
like during baby formula.  Even though early true
that some stongly favored foods can alter the 
taste within your milk, many babies manage to enjoy the
varieties of breast milk flavors.  Occasionally,
your baby might get cranky with the breast after you
eat foods.  If you see this happening,
simply avoid any particular one food.

The most commonly encountered offenders duing breast feeding 
include chocolate, spices, citrus fruits, garlic,
chili, lime, gassy vegetables, and fruits with
laxative type effects, like prunes and cherries.


You will have a cup or a couple of coffee per day, although
too much caffeine can restrict your baby's 
sleep and in some cases make him or her cranky.  Keep in
mind, caffeine is situated in many soda's, tea, and 
even non-prescription type medicine too.

It's okay on an alcoholic beverage every now
and the, although having several drink can
increase your blood alcohol level, putting the
alcohol to your breast milk.  

If you are planning to have several drink
at a moment, you need to wait couple of hours or more
per drink when you resume almost any nursing
or nursing.  There is not any need to pump
and dump unless your breasts are full and its
time to secure your baby.  While baby formula,
any sort of heavy drinking needs to be avoided.

Before you really omit any foods from your
diet, it is best to talk to your doctor.  If you
avoid foods and it results in a nutritional
imbalance, you may should see a nutritionist 
for information on taking other foods or getting 
nutritional supplements.
